I got this watch for my boyfriend since he refused to wear his [...] dollar watch because Casio Men’s MTP3036A-2AV he didn’t want to scratch it. I got this watch based on the other positive reviews and so he could have a serviceable watch he would not care if he scratched. The appearance of this watch impressed both of us a lot. It definitely looks like a high quality and tasteful watch, and I would have paid up to [...] bucks for it if I had seen it in a store. In fact, IMHO, it looked better than the [...] dollar watch (it was a swatch). It is not big on the details – I’m sure watch collectors will sniff at the “smoothness” of the metal casing and the accuracy of the watch – but it fulfilled our shallower needs! I love the deep blue color of the face and the balance between the time markers and the backgrounds (I hate it when the markers take over the whole look of the watch).

It is very substantial-looking and feeling. Definitely a “guy” watch in all ways. The watch does weight quite a bit, though my boyfriend assures me that he doesn’t mind. Adjusting the wristband was a challenge (my boyfriend looked up instructions online), but since you only need to do it once, I think it’s still worth it. He has had it a month and it has no visible scratches on it. I don’t know whether it is because it is somewhat scratch proof or if my boyfriend is just taking good care of it! There have been no other problems with it and hopefully it will last a number of years.

My son wanted a bracelet style watch with a blue face, and I wanted a durable one that is water-resistant and affordable. This Casio fit the bill, and it’s really attractive to boot. It cost $12 to get four links taken out, and it’s still a little big (he’s 13), but the face is a good size, not too big. It was hard to find a men’s watch with a small enough face to fit a growing teen. He loves it! Great purchase.

Extremely disappointing. I feel that the website/product detail page misrepresents the item.
The condition of the packaging and the presentation of the watch was unacceptable. The watch’s presentation box arrived in a protective white box that clearly had been previously opened and resealed numerous times as indicated by the general condition and jaggedly cut scotch tape. Inside this box was a scuffed red Cartier W1018355 presentation box and instructional DVD and manual folio. This folio was missing the traditional certificate of authenticity/warranty card from the manufacturer, Cartier. The watch itself was also in what appeared to be used condition: 1) the band was oddly bent/folded and looked worn; 2) a cheap plastic had been wrapped around the face – clearly for protection but jarringly disturbing and unlikely the way Cartier would have shipped to a dealer.
It is my belief that this watch was either a customer return, acquired by Amazon.com through `grey market’ channels or both. I have since learned that Amazon.com is not an authorized reseller of Cartier timepieces. Admittedly, I should have researched this better prior to buying from Amazon.
I promptly returned and went to my local Cartier boutique to get the watch. The peace of mind in knowing I have an authentic Cartier timepiece covered under the manufacturer warranty and service guarantee is far more valuable to me than the savings.
I bought this watch for myself last year for Christmas. It looks brand new almost a year later, great quality. I get complements all the time about this well styled watch. The price is less than half the white gold watch but you can not tell the difference. Good opportunity to own a Cartier at a reasonable price. One of the other reviewers must be a Cartier dealer.

I was surprised by the watch I received, totally much better than what I was expecting. The picture in the product profile does not make justice for this watch, this was a Xmas present for my brother in the picture it looks nice, however is much NICER and the watch is heavy which is a plus for men watches and the size is perfect.
Got this watch as a ‘bonus’ from one of my credit card point systems. I was skeptical, but I’ve had it now a couple years and really like it as a casual, yet stylish timepiece. It keeps time well and is chunky heavy stainless. It is in that space between sport and dress watches, but it does it well and is relatively affordable.
We were very happy with the condition and Rado R20849152 style of the watch, but when we received it, we noticed the seconds on the outer ring of the band (the “05, 15, 25…55) were in the wrong places. To the right of where noon is, it started with 55 and we were not able to turn the dial to correct it. I’m guessing this is just a flawed item and we are considering returning it to a Nautica manufacturer here. Otherwise, the watch was in great condition.

I have had this watch for over a year. I usually go through watches like I go through sunglasses (extremely fast) I have worn this watch everyday and only take it off for long swims and taking showers. The band just barely broke on me today, which saddens me greatly. I am constantly looking at the date which is always so easy to see on the watch. My favorite feature is the 3 alarms. I set one alarm for just weekends. Another alarm for weekdays and the 3rd is for those days that the alarm time needs to be changed to a different time. It makes it very easy to turn the alarms on and off as needed. I use the timer feature whenever I am baking/cooking and it has never let me down even when I’m in another room away from my kitchen. I think the only reason the band broke is sometimes it gets used as a catch, for the bags and bags of groceries I have hauled into the house hanging off my arm and catching on my watch. So it has stretched the band a bit for it to break at a week spot where one of the holes are. I am definitely trying to find a band to replace the one that broke instead of replacing the whole watch, but if I do replace it…..I’m getting the exact same watch again. The only downfall of this watch, is that I wish the light would stay on a tad longer when you push and release the light button. Especially when I’m trying to change my alarm time in the dark.

I like inexpensive sports watches. I can’t bring myself to wear a watch to impress, and can’t imagine wanting a fancy (and expensive) one. I’m like my dad: when it comes to watches I prefer function to form. I like the digital time, the digital timer and the stopwatch. Unlike my dad, however, who for several years (to my mother’s chagrin) wore a calculator watch everywhere he went (God rest his soul, I loved the man), I do like it to look good.

I needed a new watch, and wanted to get one that had both a digital readout and hands. I’m not sure why such watches even exist, but I think they look good, and I’m really happy about this watch. I think it looks good on me, and fits well (and I’m a very tall guy, with big wrists) and it has all the functions I could ever want in a watch (timer, alarm and stopwatch, etc.) plus a few more (the compass dial is a fake, though, and this won’t give you directions). It reads temperature (though for that it’s only an accurate reading if you take it off, since body heat messes with it, though you can adjust for that if you like – I haven’t bothered). It shows you the phase of the moon, if you can believe that. But the real showstopper with this watch is the “good fishing” indicator, that varies between one fish and four: when all four leaping fish Rado Integral R20787155 are lit up, that means (I guess) that you can’t miss. I haven’t tested the accuracy of its predictions yet and don’t know enough (or care) to adjust it. As it turns out, I was surprised by this feature (I guess I didn’t read the ad very clearly, mostly looked at the title and the picture, and the price was right and it looks nice). Still, I take some measure of confidence in knowing that if there were a global meltdown, and the local grocery stores were to run out of food, and if I ever got around to buying the proper gear, I’d then have a leg up on all the rest of the sorry sots who don’t have a fish predictor built into their watch.

Today the greatest thing happen to me, i received my Zenith Men’s 96.0529.4035/51.M Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Titanium Chronograph Watch in the mail, ok yea i had to sell my house and car and also my wife and kids left Rado R20787162 me but damn it now i can dive to 3300 feet and not worrying about my watch getting damaged, life is good.
I would give this watch 6 stars if possible – it actually saved the world . I was about to mail a $100,000 dollar check to help find the Mary J. Blige Foundation, celebrating it’s tenth year of searching for the Loch Ness Monster, when I stumbled upon this watch and I fell in love with it’s beauty and ability to tell time, I mean my sundial was getting kind of heavy, so the fact that I was able to find a classic black watch for $86,999.99, I just had to take up the offer. As an aspiring rapper I need to know what time it is, and it has a calendar so I can know when I can get down on fridays. This watch is fun fun fun. Know I’m pimpin’ so hard with this watch on my wrist that I ask people if they would like to know the time, because I got it like that! Oh and I’m a lady and I can rock this from the studio to the clubs!

So I have been reading some negative reviews about this watch on-line and I want to set the record straight. First of all, the thing turns heads. It is simple, yet perfect. It’s not so big (light those obnoxious Breitling watches with 6 knobs) that it feels uncomfortable or gaudy. If you are willing to pop down $5000 for a watch, this is the one for you. Although it scratches easily, the Cartier Roadster really is a timeless classic.
I considered buying this watch and asked a good friend who owns one. He said his watch stopped working after 5 yrs. Cartier said the watch has to be sent in for preventive maintenance every 3-5 yrs at a cost of $700. I don’t think I want to spend $5000 on a watch where I need to fork over $700 every 3 years. I went ahead and bought an Omega instead.
I have owned this watch for almost 4 years, and I love it. It feels great, it harmoniously marries heft-with-elegance, and the band is very comfortable (no pinching hair/skin). I have often been complimented on it. I wouldn’t have imagined myself as a $5K/watch guy before (bought it at a charity auction), but I have to say, it has been an excellent purchase. I have had no problems with the watch mechanically. This year the clasp closure loosened up a little too much, but a local jeweller fixed it in Cartier W62025V3 5 minutes without charge. I have no hesitation to recommend this watch fully.
There is no shortage of praise for this watch. And that is the problem. This is a mass advertised watch unlike other Cartiers of the past. The result? Any status conscious person with a job is buying one and making this Cartier a common sight. One of the things that makes Cartier watches special, besides the understated elegance is that they are less ubiquitous than Rolex. Not anymore. Also, this model is a little too bulky looking for my taste in a Cartier; Breitling and Rolex maybe, Cartier, no.
This is the best watch I have ever owned. You can tell it is extremely well made the moment you pick it up. I will concur with some of the other reviewers that the button on the top left can be hard to press if you don’t have any fingernails. That would be my only complaint. Extremely functional with almost no bells and whistles (just the way I like it). Being in the military, I was looking for something simple and tough that wouldn’t draw a lot of attention…this is it. I could not be happier…in fact I am ecstatic. This is the watch I should have bought 5 years ago instead of buying the cheap Ironman watches which always fall apart after two years of use. I have never owned a $25 Wal-Mart watch for more than two years. That was a sunk cost, but now I have a “real watch” that I am sure will last for years. Look no further.

The Casio watch is the most comfortable, convenient, flexible, and informal watch Cartier W31075M7 I own and it’s been that way since I first bought one some 30 (?) years ago when I was doing a lot of running and jogging. And, the one I recently lost had been working efficiently without a replacement battery for some 20 years. They are not so expensive that I didn’t feel financially dented when I replaced it. My other watch, a more “dress-up” one that my folks gave me 48 years ago, is still telling accurate time. Guess I’m not a good customer because watches just last a long time with me, but only when I buy quality. My biggest problem was finding a Casio like I wanted at a retail store in Tulsa. They just don’t carry them, but that must be a marketing decision. This was my first purchase ever online. You also spend too much on the cost to mail it without a benefit of quicker delivery.

Best watch out there for the price. Watch bands however don’t last very long. To purchase an OEM band and not some substitute is very $$$$ considering the overall cost of watch brand new with band. Third G Shock watch I’ved owned. Anything more than this is a waste of time and money. Does what it’s supposed to under the harshest conditions.

I tried wearing the watch and it was so large (or my wrist was so small),that it pressed into the back of my hand and was painful. I tried it both on my right wrist (I am left handed) and my left wrist and in both cases I had the problem. I had to return the watch. I suggest you try it on in a “Bricks and Mortar” store before buying it.

I’ve been looking for a watch like this for some time, and this one exceeds my expectations. It has the look of a Breitling type watch, but is much more affordable. It fits great, and the face is awesome! I highly recommend this!!
Most of the watches under $200 have Japan Movements. I have found that they ALL function well and are very accurate to the degree of 15 seconds plus or minus a month which is what quartz accuracy give, I’ve only had one problem in my life with a Japan Movement and I Rado R13477182 do believe strongly it was tampered with as it was a huge markdown watch that I once bought.
